As the University has moved from Advanced Protection to Enhanced, the Library is adjusting services to align with this level of restriction. We look forward to updating you on these changes over the coming weeks, and will add new items to this post as we are able to safely reintroduce services. At the moment, we are delighted to be reopening the Postgraduate Study Room in the Albert Sloman Library (Colchester Campus) from next week, 4 May!
Study spaces in the Postgraduate Study Room will be available for bookings via the Library website from 10am to 5.30pm Monday – Friday, and from 12 to 7.30pm on Sundays. Access to the Postgraduate Room and the Library Reading Room during these times will be through the main entrance to the Albert Sloman Library. You can still book spaces in the Reading Room until midnight Monday – Friday, and after 6pm, entrance will be through the “overnight” door (at the end of the Library concourse).
We’d like to thank all our students and academics for keeping the Library spaces safe throughout all the challenges of the past year. We are confident that as services are reintroduced, we’ll be able to continue working together to keep each other safe as we adjust to a “new normal.”
